Healthy Chocolate Crackles

Healthy Chocolate Crackles

Looking for a fun, chocolatey snack that the whole family will love?

These Healthy Chocolate Crackles are a delicious, easy-to-make treat for you and the kids! Made with Herbalife Chocolate and Cookies & Cream Shake Mix, coconut oil and whole grain puffed rice, they’re a tasty alternative to traditional chocolate crackles. You can even add a sprinkle of colourful decorations to make them extra fun for the kids!

What you need:

  • ⅓ cup of coconut oil
  • 6 spoons of Herbalife Shake Mix (a mix of Chocolate and Cookies & Cream)
  • 1 spoon of cacao powder (optional, if you like a richer chocolate flavour)
  • 1½ cups of whole grain puffed rice (made from 100% whole grain brown rice)
  • ¼ cup of shredded coconut (optional)
  • Colourful sprinkles (optional, for decorating)

What to do:

  1. Place the jar of coconut oil into a bowl of hot water to melt before measuring.
  2. Measure the melted coconut oil into a mixing bowl and add the Herbalife Shake Mix and cacao powder, if using.
  3. Whisk by hand until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Add the puffed rice and shredded coconut, if using, then gently mix until everything is evenly coated in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Spoon the mixture into paper liners in a muffin or cupcake tray, pressing down gently to help the crackles hold their shape.
  6. Add colourful sprinkles on top, if desired.
  7. Place the tray in the freezer for about 10 minutes or until the crackles have set.
  8. Once set, store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
  9. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Try different combinations of Herbalife Shake Mix flavours to create your favourite chocolate crackles.
  • Add cacao powder for a richer chocolate flavour or leave it out for a milder taste.
  • Include shredded coconut for extra texture and flavour, or leave it out if you prefer.
  • Let the kids decorate their own crackles with colourful sprinkles for a fun kitchen activity.
  • Keep the crackles in the freezer for a firmer texture or in the fridge for a softer bite.
